3/4/5/6 Camps

Students in Grade 4/5/6 are given the opportunity to build on their camp experiences from Grade 3 camp by attending venues which are situated further away and are of a longer duration. 4/5/6 camps are primarily adventure camps where students continue to develop their independence challenging themselves in a variety of activities and situations.

Grampians Retreat - Students in the 4/5/6 area attend the Grampians Retreat Camp at Dunkeld for 5 days and 4 nights. It is an expansive camp offering many exciting activities in a bush setting. Students learn to appreciate the beauty and serenity of the bush by participating in hikes and experiencing koalas, kangaroos and other native animals and birds in their natural environment. They also participate in a number of adventure activities including the Giant Swing, Flying Fox, Archery, Hut Building, Bush Cooking, Group Initiatives, Bush Art, Ponding, Low Ropes and Rogaining. The facilities, activities and food are all excellent at the Grampians Retreat.
