Levelled Literacy Intervention

Levelled Literacy Intervention, or LLI, is a small group supplementary intervention designed to assist children who find reading and writing difficult. The goal of students taking part in the program is to bring children to their expected grade achievement level.

The students participate in LLI five times a week. Each lesson is thirty minutes and is fast paced, where children are highly motivated and engaged. Lessons have a focus of reading fluently, comprehension, building writing strategies and phonic/word studies.

LLI is not designed to replace regular classroom instruction, but reinforce and support it whilst including strong home connections that enhance learning beyond LLI lessons.
