Playgroup
At Coldstream Primary School we are committed to the benefits of early education. The research is clear that the biggest impact we can have on the development and the educational outcomes of children is when the children are in the years between birth and age 5. A free facilitated playgroup runs in the Coldstream Primary School Library every Tuesday morning from 10- 11.30am and everyone is welcome.
Each session follows the same predictable pattern for the children:
10.00-10.30 songs, stories, rhymes, acting, dancing, Action Story Telling and early letter understanding.
10.30 - 11.00 snack and outdoor gross motor skill play and eye/hand co-ordination activities.
11.00 - 11.30 indoor free play building social interaction skills.
